Frequently Asked Questions
How do I verify my account?
Open your citizen profile and choose ID.me when Citizenly’s partner connection is available. Sign-in alone does not verify identity.
How do I change the language?
Save your default language in your citizen profile or Settings → Language. Then use your browser’s Translate option or a translation extension. The source interface remains English.
How do I find my representatives?
Browse Your community for Reno, Washoe County and state offices. Members of Congress lists the House and Senate. Choose your ward on Home; this preference is not verified residence.
How do I add a meeting to my calendar?
Open an event page and select Add to calendar. Import the downloaded .ics file into your calendar. It is a snapshot and does not automatically update when the source changes.
Can I vote on a bill?
Community opinions require production identity verification and a launched voting service. Citizenly opinions are not election ballots or official congressional votes.
What does unverified attendance mean?
There is not enough evidence to mark the person present or absent. Floor roll-call participation is tracked separately from committee hearing attendance.
Are notifications being sent?
Not yet. Notification preferences can be saved in your browser, but no email, push or SMS service is active.
Are community discussions public?
Public discussion publishing is not available yet. You can prepare a private draft, saved only in this browser.
How current is the information?
Each data page shows its source and last check. Some records refresh; others are dated snapshots. Always check the official notice before attending a meeting.
